DOUGLAS EBENSTEIN
President and Chairman Board
Capital Commercial Properties, Inc.

OUR CEO

MR. DOUG EBENSTEIN

Throughout the East Coast- with a focus on Virginia and Maryland suburbs making up the Washington DC Metropolitan region- Mr. Doug Ebenstein heads retail development and leasing operations.

In Alexandria, Virginia, just a short distance from the capital, the development of a massive mixed-use site, bringing together a number of nationwide commercial tenants and more than five hundred residential properties, was spearheaded by Capital Commercial Properties. The East Coast’s Asian shopping center is owned and managed by the Eden Center Inc. in which Doug Ebenstein holds the title of president.

With over 115 tenants, among them a couple of fine Vietnamese restaurants, the Eden Center was converted into a pivotal cultural and social destination by the company. The center was in 2014 and 2015 voted, by the Washington City Paper, as the “Best Shopping Center”, after it had initially been identified as Falls Church, Virginia’s “Most Improved Commercial Property” back in 1997; all these accolades being in recognition of the above accomplishment.

To earn his Bachelor of Arts degree in economics, Douglas Ebenstein attended Brown University. He was a member of the varsity tennis outfit during his stint at the university, and in his final two years earned the top ranking in doubles and singles tennis. He completed his Juris Doctor at Duke University, where he had enrolled as a law student, after graduating at Brown.

Doug Ebenstein played professional tennis in the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) where he went up to 300th in the world rankings, before going to law school. On top of hosting the Brown University tennis team’s yearly winter camp to Florida’s Boca Raton, he also maintains a strong presence in the community and supports his former school’s tennis team and athletic program. He also contributes to the Morgan Pressel Foundation, which focuses on cancer, and has been a member of Boca Raton’s Congregation B’nai Israel for a long time. He’s been ranked as high as 5th in doubles tennis, in his age group, and 3rd in singles tennis, in the United States, as he continues to be a passionate senior tennis player.
